A Fresh New Look for Trossachs Search & Rescue Team ID Cards
There’s something particularly rewarding about being able to use your skills to support an organisation that does such important work in the local community. My latest project has brought together my experience in design and administration with a team that holds a special place in my heart: Trossachs Search & Rescue Team.
A fresh design for a dedicated team
I recently had the pleasure of designing and producing a fresh new look for the team's ID cards. While ID cards might seem like a small detail, they play an important role in helping identify team members and present a professional, consistent image.
The new design gives the cards a clean, contemporary feel while keeping the team's identity at the heart of the finished product. From the layout and typography to the positioning of key details, every element has been considered to create a practical, professional and easily recognisable ID card.
It’s always satisfying to take a project from the initial design through to the finished, printed cards, seeing the ideas come to life in a tangible way.
More than just a design project
This project was particularly meaningful to me because I previously volunteered with Trossachs Search & Rescue Team.
Volunteering with the team was a thoroughly rewarding experience. Being involved gave me an appreciation of the commitment, teamwork and dedication required to support search and rescue operations. It also gave me an insight into the important role the team plays in helping people when they need it most.
Having been part of the team, it was lovely to be able to contribute again, this time by putting my design and printing skills to practical use.
Although my contribution was different from my time as a volunteer, it felt good to support an organisation whose work I understand and respect.
The little details make a difference
At OfficePace, I enjoy projects that combine organisation, creativity and attention to detail. Producing ID cards is a great example of how a relatively small piece of work can help an organisation maintain a professional and consistent appearance.
Whether it's designing identification cards, preparing event materials or supporting an organisation behind the scenes, I believe the details matter. The aim is always to create something that looks good, serves its purpose and reflects the organisation it represents.
I'm delighted to have been able to help Trossachs Search & Rescue Team with their refreshed ID cards and to put my skills to use in support of a team that does such valuable work.
A fresh design, a practical purpose and a personal connection — a project that was especially rewarding to be involved in.
